From Pastor Allan
R. Williamson
Southern Union Pathfinder Director
September 21, 2007
Hello Pathfinders and Staff,
I am happy to tell you that
as of today we have 5,460 Pathfinders and Staff registered for the
camporee! This represents 255 Pathfinder clubs. How exciting to know
we will be part of the largest Southern Union Pathfinder camporee ever
held! Thanks for your love for Pathfindering. As our Pathfinder song
says, "we are the Pathfinders strong."
Camp Kulaqua's
phone number 386-454-1351 will be manned 24 hours a day beginning
Wednesday, September 26 at 8:00 a.m. until Sunday noon, September 30.
Security will be provided 24
hours a day by Camp Kulaqua staff members and our Southern Union
camporee security under the direction of D. M. Jones, security director,
and Ernestine Lockett, assistant security director. Persons working
with camporee security should check in with D.M. Jones as soon as
possible after they arrive at Camp Kulaqua.
Security alert for safety --
it is recommended that no Pathfinder club leave the camporee site until
after the Saturday night fireworks.
Julie Bacon is heading up a
tremendous team of medical personnel that will be on duty 24 hours a
day.
A detailed map of Camp
Kulaqua will be provided to each club director.
We are really looking forward
to seeing you at Camp Kulaqua this Wednesday, September 26. It is
exciting to know that we have such a tremendous army of Pathfinders that
are "Called to Serve".
May God bless each of you and
give you safe travel to Camp Kulaqua.
Pastor Allan Williamson
