There
will be a Pathfinder flag at the Pathfinder Heritage & Museum area.
Please have one person from your club (with good hand writing) come by the
and sign the flag and the log sheet. Below is the information of
how the flag started and where it will end up.
My name is Wendy Wolfswinkel, and I am the Deputy
Director of the Fort Vancouver Pathfinder Club, Vancouver, Washington. I am
attempting to collect the names of every Pathfinder club in the North
American Division onto one Flag. I started this project in 2004 at the NAD
Camporee in Oshkosh, WI. To date, the Flag has been to Oregon, Washington,
Upper Columbia, Idaho, Northern California, Rocky Mountain, Texas, Oklahoma,
and Atlantic Union Conferences. Now it will be featured at the Southern and
Southwestern Union Camporees. The ultimate goal is to have the completed
list for the NAD, as well as the other world division finished by the 2009
NAD Camporee, and all of the club names onto one Flag. In order to
accomplish this, I need your help.
Have a member of your club add your club name to the
list when you visit the Pathfinder Heritage Museum at Camporee. Record your
Club Name, City, State, Conference, and Union on the log sheet. This
information will go into a data base that will be shared with Pathfinders
all over the North American Division. You can also check out the list to see
all of the other Club names collected from other conferences.
If there are individuals willing to assist in the
collection of the club names, talk to Arnold and Dixie Plata at the
Pathfinder Heritage Museum.
This will insure the gathering process. And be sure to
tell everyone in your conference about this project as well. Thank you
all for your help. I could never accomplish this on my own. To follow the
Flag's progress, go to the Forums at
